HydroChem Industrial Services, Inc. is a privately held corporation formed in late 1993, with the combination of Hydro-Services and Dowell Industrial Services. In 1995, the company acquired the Halliburton Industrial Services business unit of Brown & Root Industrial Services and in early 1999 acquired the assets of Valley Systems, Inc. In November of 1999, the company acquired Landry Service Company, Inc. (LANSCO).

Hydro-Services, founded in 1961, provided leading edge hydroblast technology and manufactured equipment from its Gulf Coast Locations. Dowell Industrial Services, founded in 1929, was the established leader in chemical cleaning.

Halliburton Industrial Services, a nationally based company founded in 1962 was considered a leader in chemical cleaning and high volume, high pressure hydroblasting cleaning. Valley Systems, a nationally based company founded in 1972 was an industry leader in ultra high pressure cutting and cleaning. LANSCO founded in 1985, an industry leader in tank cleaning, joined the HydroChem family in late 1999.

By combining the strengths of each of the five companies, HydroChem has continued to grow and establish itself as the premier provider of industrial cleaning services with offices throughout the United States. We provide specialized hydroblasting, chemical cleaning, ultra high-pressure cleaning, vacuum services and tank cleaning as well as additional services such as cold cutting, commissioning services and mechanical services. Our customers include the petrochemical, oil refinery, electric utilities and pulp and paper industries, among others.
