The key to the this system is a video remote controlled cannon that is attached to an air tight manway and equipped with a camera, lighting system, and spray cannon. The cannon sprays a diluent that simultaneously dissolves sludge and scrubs VOC's from the atmosphere. Liquefied material is pumped out through a sump or water draw while the tank remains sealed. By removing volatile liquids from the tank before they can vaporize, degassing time - often the most costly component of tank cleaning/degassing operations - is completely eliminated.
